Curriculum and Assessment

A broad and balanced curriculum is provided for all children in St. Mary's, giving every pupil the opportunity to experience success in learning and to achieve as high a standard as possible.

Structure of the Primary Curriculum

The curriculum is set out in six Areas of Learning:

  • Personal Development & Mutual Understanding

  • The World Around Us
  • Physical Education

In addition, Religious Education forms a core part of the curriculum in St. Mary's PS.
