World Book Day took place yesterday (2nd March) To celebrate the wonderful world of books we invited our very own local author Emma Heatherington and artist and musician, Jim Mc Kee into school to deliver the 'Scarecrow Hop' workshop.
The children listened to Emma reading her story about Scarecrow Fred while Jim entertained us with his songs and playing the guitar. The children loved getting the chance to get up and dance to the 'Scarecrow Hop' song!
Some of our boys and girls came dressed for the occasion by dressing up as scarecrows!
