On Tuesday 11th June, St. Mary's was visited by Mr. Paul Trainor who met with our Eco committee and carried out an assessment in relation to our eco topics.
We are delighted to announce that we were awarded the prestigious ‘Green Flag’ on the day of assessment. The internationally recognised Green Flag is the highest award given to Eco-Schools and symbolises excellence in the field of environmental activity.
Congratulations to our Eco-Team for their hard work throughout the year, caring for our school and making us all environmentally aware through all their efforts.
A huge thank you also to Miss Mullin, our Eco-Schools Co-Ordinator for working with pupils and staff to make this possible.
We are very proud of this achievement!
